The Ottawa Comic Jam’s July
edition is an open theme/ casual sketch night. Come to the Shanghai and create
improv comics with other artists, writers and enthusiasts in a warm, gallery
atmosphere.
Inspiration can come from
the art on the walls, the gorgeous and unique tables (many of them fancifully
decorated with pandas, bamboo & lacquer). Enjoy dumplings or curry poutine!
Enjoy a ‘Dark & Stormy’ (dark rum & ginger beer). And DRAW DRAW DRAW!

Artwork is collected at the
end of the evening, scanned and posted to the jam site for all to enjoy. The
comic jam repeats the last Wednesday of the month (except December.) Some
artwork can be of an adult/ mature nature and is not generally suitable for
minors.
